HOW to apply for PAN if no last name ?

Dear Experts,
Plz guide me if I want to apply for PAN for one of my client whose name is "Priya" but dont have any Cast/Last name ,how could she apply for PAN no.,is it compulsory to quote Last name on the PAN application form ,how could she apply for PAN no.
Plz Advice.

You may apply only frist namen only not need to disclose Last name

But if you are filing ITR then it is compulsory to write " Last " name...................................
