How ro reset password for e-filing purposes

20 September 2012 one of my client for which i want to efiling of Income tax return for Asstt.Year 2012-13.I am not having any information as to previous I.T.returns filed online except only PAN Details. Now query is how to reset password for the said purposes under intimation to my mail address.As on IT website the option for resetting password so PAN Details is concerned the alternate Mail ID is not displayed/shown.How to resolve.please reply at soonst.

20 September 2012 Then only way to write request mail to re-set password to ask@incometaxindia.gov.in
I think you not registered the pan so you haven't the secret question answer and/or password of registered e-mail ID. So only choice is write to ask@incometaxindia.gov.in

PAN NO. COMPANY NAME DOI, ADDRESS, DIRECTORS NAME ETC.

IN THE CASE OF INDIVIDUAL, PAN NO. DOB AND ADDRESS.

YOU WILL RECEIVED A NEW PASS WORD WITHIN 24 HOURS.

20 September 2012 A small correction to the CA Navin Jain sir reply with his permission. I think the said email address by him is "efiling.administrator@incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in" instead of said by you.
