Housing Loan or Hsg. Renovation Loan

If i take housing loan or housing renovation loan from a credit society should I will be elgible for exemption u/s 24 and U/s 80c. Does it make any difference if I take it from the co-operative bank.

The important point is that it should have been written in the bylaws of the credit society that it can deal in housing finance. The society should be recognised to distribute housing loan. If it is mentioned then you can claim the deduction u/s. 24 as well as 80C.

Yes u r eligible and it doesn't make any difference if u take the loan from co.op.bank
