Hi All
Kindly suggest if i recd. HRA 10000 House rent paid 15000 basic salary is 40000. Is there any restrictions by the Income Tax authority that a person should not submit the rent recepit beyond the Hra exemption.

there is no such restriction. u provide all receipts which u have and claim deduction accordingly. max deduction is equal to hra amt, so dept. have no probs.
