If an employee is claiming rebate u/s 10 for House Rent paid, are the rent receipts produced by the employee are sufficient for company's records or any other document is also required? Please suggest.

In my opinion a rent agreement and rent receipts for various months are sufficient for claiming rebate u/s 10

Rent receipt is sufficient to claim HRA but if rent receipt is above Rs 5000/- then Rs 1 (one) revenue stamp is require to paste on rent Receipt and duly sign by a recipient.
