I have bought a HP during 2012-13 and made 90% of payment and the remaining 10% is paid after 2012-13. the legal documents are registered in my name only. can i show the asset as mine in the balance sheet of 2012-13 or it is capitalized in the year in which the full payment is made?

yes you can show it as yours as u havd the possession also and substantial amount u have already paid by 31.3.2013.
