25 February 2013 the house property has been completely vacant during the year.do we need to take any notional rental income for tax purposes...?

26 February 2013 If it is for the purpose of self occupation then no notional rent income shall be considered.

If it is second(third or etc....) house property, notional rent income shall be considered.You may also get the benifit of vacancy period loss, If house is vacant during the year.
