One of my client has two houses. One in Mumbai districts in which his parents resides. Another in Raigad district wherein he resides. Raigad property is nearer to his office. Whether income from house property should be calculated on Mumbai house

Assessee is free to choose one house as a self occupied and another is Deemed Let Out according to his wish.

Calculate house property income from both the houses as deemed let out. The house which has higher income should be claimed as self occupied, and the other one as let out.
