Dear sir I have taken a home loan From bank but possesion not received till date can i take a deduction of laon interest amount in income tax return. Thanks Dheeraj

In case of self occupied property, you can not claim exemption of home loan interest until possession is taken but you would get deduction towards principal repayment to the extent 100000 u/s 80C.
