Is it possible that more than 2 person can hold share in joint name, is there any restruction of no. of person.

Yes. There is no restriction for the number of joint holders. However, the company by way of its articles may restrict the number of joint holders.

There is no restriction as such on thenumber of joint holders, but as per good practice the company generally keeps upto 2 joint holders.
Later on the process' of transfers, transmissions, etc becomes very tedious.
So, the Company also takes care on their side.
