Hold form 16 of Left Employees

11 June 2009 Dear Sir,

I would like to know that If some employee (Whose Tds deducted by Co.) left from company without giving any notice period and full & final settlement of their account.

Now, company want to hold their tds certificate of Form 16. If company company hold their tds certificate, which type of problem face by the company in future.

Pls advise me on that matter.

12 June 2009 No you can not hold the TDS certificate, unless the party don't give u a Pan no.
