are all members are eligible for becoming member of an hidu undevided family? what is procedure to get registered huf under income tax act?

In simple paralance all members of Hindu Religion having a common ancestor (before the partition of property amongst them takes place) are members of that Hindu Undivided Family with that common ancestor. The property belonging to that HUF (not yet partitioned), is the HUF property.
