can u please help me on the High Seas Sale.
is it necessary for the trading company to have VAT or TIN or any other registration apart from IEC code for doing High Seas Sale?.

IEC for import, without IEC code you can not import any items. Vat No. not Necessary for highseas sale.

pls not that as i am operating a proprietor based company the only government registered documents i have is a IEC CODE and a TIN no.

Both Nos IEC/Vat are abailable with you, you can do highseas sale. you must show in your vat return this sale.

AND FOR THIS WE MUST AN IEC HOLDER WHICH IS APPLY IN DGFT, REGIONAL LICENSING AREA,
IF YOU WANTED TO AVAILED REFUND THE SAD YOU MUST REGISTERED IN VAT DEPARTMENT.
AND THEN HIGH SEA SALE MAY BE DONE ..
