24 September 2012 Please advice if under one Bill of lading two material has been imported, is it possible to HSS one material to one company and keep one material for self comsumption?

24 September 2012 No.it is not possible, you first have to split the Invoice and on the basis of that you can split the B/L, then only you can do it..

24 September 2012 still not possible becasue you need to endorse a give one set of original documents to HSS buyer, he will clear that consignments. possible only when you have two invoice and two B/L........

25 September 2012 Agreed with krishnan ji.

noted that Only one party’s name should appear in the bill of entry filed by canalizing agency or export houses or trading houses. No bill of entry can be filed on account of another party, Madras CPN No.72/89 dated 21.4.89.

The bill of entry will be noted in the name of high sea buyer on production of high sea sale contract.

Original copy of bill of lading endorsed in favour of buyer .

25 September 2012 You can split the B/L after release but before filing the Import General Manifest ( IGM) by the S/Lines. You can discuss with concerned S/Lines.
