why trade discount is not recorded and why FBT is paid

AS its the discount given in order to get the goods to be sold to the other person
its not loss to the company
its a gain to the company as goods are sold ( indead it increases the sales
so it is not recorded
where as cash discount is loos to the company so it is recorded
