Dear Sir
we have manufacturing unit, we taken inward - outward material through local truck and also transporter, some of local truck owner not issue consignment note and payment only in cash coz they have no Bank a/c . should we pay service tax @ 25% on gross amt on local transportation as payment in cash ?

Yes...just because they are not issuing consignment note...we can not escape from the service tax (GTA).
