Dear Expert,
GSTR-9 is filed having turnover more than 2 cr for FY 17-18. But while filing GSTR-9 HSN summary of inward as well as outward supply not filled.
Whether any penal action will be taken ?
Kindly guide

In my opinion the appropriate authority may treat it as defective one as mandatory requirement of HSN summary has not been complied with. It will all depend upon his judgment.
