21 September 2018 Dear experts,

I failed to submit gstr 3b for aug'18 within 20th due to gst site down, will I be liable for late fee? if so, how much I have to pay late fee? Please help.

21 September 2018 Amount of late fees to be paid:-Rs. 50 per day
If you were to file return with ‘Zero’ tax liability then late fees will be:-Rs. 20 per day
So far no notification has been issued for waiver of late fee due to technical error with GST Site .
In case , if it will established that due to technical snag at GST Portal , registered person could not file return ,waiver notification may issued by the Govt.
