Gst registration office and factory is at different places

12 February 2018 Dear Experts,
I want take gst registration but my office and factory is at different places. Pls tell me in GST registration which address I will have to give whether my office address or factory address,
Or have to give the both address,

12 February 2018 if both factory and office address are within the same state, then you can take registration in any of the place address and can add the other as additional place of business.

If both factory and office is in different state, then you need to take registration for both the places

12 February 2018 Sir both the address are within the state. Pls clarify is it mandatory to show both the address in gst registration one as registered office and another one is in additional places of business or only one address is enough

12 February 2018 You can show only one address but it is advisable to show the other address as additional place of business as sometimes few bills might come on that address and it becomes easy for claiming ITC as well.

12 February 2018 yes you can purchase the material at your factory address also. You can be able to take the ITC
