07 September 2017 Dear Sir/Madam,
We are registered under GST regime. We were paying Rent to landlord above 55,000/-.
Our landlord is also registered under GST regime.

RENT 55000/-
TO LANDLORD 52250/-
TO TDS 2750/-
Now what amount we have to pay

55000/- OR 64900/- (WITH GST AMOUNT)

07 September 2017 Land Lord will issue GST Invoice for Rent
55000+ 9900(GST@18%)= Rs. 64,900/-, You have to pay after deduction 10% TDS u/s 194I on 55,000/- (64900-5500)= 59,400/-. You can take input credit of 9,900/- if the premises is used for business purpose.
