GST on office rent security deposit

suppose we are paying the security deposit for office rent so in that case the gst will also be paid with the security amount or not ?

GST will not be applicable on security deposit for rent.
29 April 2023
Security deposits collected by landlords or property owners at the time of renting out the property are not considered as consideration for a supply, and hence, are not liable to GST.
