Gst migration error

29 March 2017 Hi,

I am logging into gst website for migration of service tax to GST. However it shows following error:

"Your RC under is cancelled, therefore, your Provisional ID stands cancelled. Hence you are not permitted to migrate under GST"

What does this mean?

Please advice.

1. You are requested to recheck your GST Provisional Id details in your Service Tax Login. Also check that you haven't withdrawn the service tax registration.

2. You may contact at GST Helpdesk at 0124 4688999 or email them at helpdesk@gst.gov.in

30 March 2017 It means your dvat registration is cancelled, first of all check on dvat site in dvat credential whether your regn. is active or cancelled than proceed further
