Gst invoice of placement service

14 February 2018 we hire one worker in our company from placement service provider

He issued us gst invoice as per detail given below

monthly ctc 12000.00
annual ctc 144000.00

rate 4.17% 6005
Add gst 18% 1080
Total invoice value ( 6005+1080 ) 7085.00

i want to know is the above calculation is right?

i am in doubt because they have charged on annual ctc?

all respected experts kindly help?/

14 February 2018 your calculation suggests that they have raised invoice of their total service in one go. If your terms of the agreement suggests the same then the same is ok. Otherwise you can ask him to raise monthly invoice

if i will ask of monthly invoice then they will issue monthly invoice for next 12 month ?

please clear this point we have to pay for 1 year , whether on monthly basis or for a year.

14 February 2018 Gurwinder ji - generally a clause is added in the agreement that payment will be made on a one time basis but they will provide the replacement on FOC basis if the employee leaves within a period of 6-12 months.

Therefore, it is paid only for the first year CTC but whether you need to pay monthly or one time, depends on the terms of the agreement that you might have entered with them
