01 August 2017 Dear Sir,

We are manufacturer of Bakery item like, Bread, Patties ,cake , samosha, etc.so what is the rate chart of these items,
can we have to maintain the HSN code or we can maintain a book like,
Bakery item sale GST5% or ?....

please help me.

01 August 2017 If your turnover was less than 1.5 cr in the last financial year, then no need to mention HSN Codes

01 August 2017 Thanku sir for your reply, but i wanted to know how to maintain books .
if can take an entry like.
Bakery item sale CGST 2.5% OR may be 12%
SGST2.5%
i am really confused how to maintain the books , i ask so many person they are giving me the difference ans . i got confused can any one guide me pls.

01 August 2017 You will have to identify the rates of your items for both inputs and outputs. Once identified you will open accounts for CGST, SGST IGST for the rates. Say for example where the rate is 5% CGST and SGST will be charged at 2.5% each in case of intra state supplies. IGST will be 5% whole charged on inter state supplies.
Identification of rates is important.
