16 December 2016 In what way GST is better than VAT to a dealer?Please explain with a simple example.

16 December 2016 Under VAT the credit of CST is not available. if the dealer hire the service of chartered accountant he charges service tax credit of that is not available. if the dealer purchases the item manufactured from a unit in same state it charges excise duty credit of that is not available now credit of all these will be available which will have effect on cost.
