is it true that now onwards even goodwill will be depreciated?

A case has decided that " goodwill is an intangible assets assets u/s 32(1)(ii) and eligible for depreciation [CIT vs Hindustan Coca Cola Beverages Pvt. Ltd]
so now you can claim depreciation on goodwill but this matters is still a bit controversial.
