I am a student and some person has ask me for gomasta and wants me to do this work? so please tell me, what is gumasta license & under which act it is mandatory to take this license? is it different for different cities or state? please tell me how to take it and where can i read all rules regarding it?

Go to Gumasta Local Office next to Shalimar restaurant in Vashi Sec 19c Near APMC, Xerox machine shop on the ground floor has copies of form. fill out Form A and Form B and 4 challans (2 pages) then take it to fellow behind the front desk in the gumasta office who will write the appropriate fees to be paid as per the number of emplyees in ur business. go to the SBI nearby and pay fees.
Logon to http://www.mahashramm.gov.in/lms/Default.aspx and register as a new user. Login and then under services select Apply for Reg./Lic and then select more on the next page and select the very last option which is Application for Shop Registration. Select and then select Add and fill out the form again. Put challan no. from the challan paid at bank and the amt. of fees paid... Press submit...A UTN will be generated by the system.. print the form and take it back t gumasta office for submission along your PAN Card and Electricity Bills... if u r renting the shop/office then proof is also reqd of ownership of place..After all is done..
