I have given my CA-Final Exams in May 2013. i am eligible to attend GMCS also. My query is can i register in GMCS-1 or do i keep waiting when the respective institute will declare GMCS for old students?? will it make any difference if i attend GMCS-1 instead of attending GMCS?

1)you may register for GMCS-1 also but it is considered as leave for your articleship(if u are in articleship) and it is not a substitute to old GMCS which is applicable to you..you should complete old GMCS programme then only you can apply for membership
