23 June 2013 I have given my CA-Final Exams in May 2013. i am eligible to attend GMCS also. My query is can i register in GMCS-1 or do i keep waiting when the respective institute will declare GMCS for old students?? will it make any difference if i attend GMCS-1 instead of attending GMCS?

24 June 2013 1)you may register for GMCS-1 also but it is considered as leave for your articleship(if u are in articleship) and it is not a substitute to old GMCS which is applicable to you..you should complete old GMCS programme then only you can apply for membership

2)you need to appear for GMCS which is applicable to you
