My education is from Hindi Medium Schooling and i hve completed my CA recently.My english is not upto the marks of expectation specially in speaking. What can i do to clear the interview ?

For honing the presentation skills, you may join any classes for the same.
But, if you don't want it, just try few things:
1. Check out the daily newspapers;
2. Read atleast a fort-nightly, quarterely news magazine;
3. To improve your English, just read the English newspaper;
4. Note down the words you don't understand;
5. Look for those in a good dictionary;
6. Use them in daily routine;
7. For spoken English, try speaking English news items in front of a mirror for atleast 10 minutes daily and increase it after a gap.

HE's sent every person with a purpose and same is the case with you.

So never feel inferior to anyone and concentrate on the things above.

26 August 2008 Mr. Vinod has provided some excellent methods to improve on your English Skills. I would like to add that being a CA you have an advantage but if you won't be able to present your cause infront of interviewer, you will miss out on some good opportunities. I would strongly recommend you to join a Good English Teaching Institute as the cost incurred for the same will surely bring rich dividends to you in near future. Otherwise Try to speak in english with your friends or so, don't be hesitant even if you sometimes speaks grammatically wrong, or stops in between speaking. Gradually, your spoken skills will improve and you can master the same with your dedicated efforts and perseverence.
