15 December 2015 Sir, is it necessary for a gallantry award winner to file ITRs as pension received by him exempt from income tax?
If yes then how to n in which column such income disclosed?

09 January 2016 Only certain types of gallantry awards are exempted like Param Vir Chakra, Maha Vir chakra or Vir chakra etc. Only if you tell me the nature of award, I can suggest you.
