I am a freshly qualified CA and I have set up my own practice. Would appreciate if someone could throw light on how to build up a client base and procure professional assignments. I developed a few contacts from my articleship tenure but then thats about it. How to extend it further and gain more work.
Further, I would also like to know the basic empanelments I should subscribe to, keeping in mind that mine is a very new firm.

take part in the social networks like rotary, lions, cycle clubs, environmental clubs and so on, This will generate the work for you. You can also think of in terms of networking with existing firm of CA without loosing your identity.
