16 February 2009 My company recovered FBT liability on my ESOP shares from my salary and remitted the same.
Is there any Deduction certificate which I should get from the Company as a proof of such deduction for filing before the tax authorities?

16 February 2009 FBT is payable by your company. They cannot deduct from your salary.

16 February 2009 As far as ESOP is concerned Company Can treat the FBT paid on ESOP as a part of CTC. As per Section 115WKA company can recover the amount of FBT which the company is liable to pay.
further there is no deduction Certificate.
