Pls tell me the formalities in Sales TAx and Companies act for opening of Branch in another state .

31 May 2010 In companies act there is not much formalities. All you need proper board resolution and delegation of authority to person. In sales tax you have get yourself registered in local sales tax office if the goods dealt by company is taxable in that state
