a power distribution government company is filling its return in XBRL form but its Form 23 B is not filled due to exemption from filling 23 b to power companies . pls tell me whether filling 23b is necessary in this case

05 February 2013 Dear Ms.Seema,

I dont think there is an exemption in filing E form 23B for power distribution company. XBRL filing is exempted for power companies.Kindly check at your end.

You can mention Z99999999 for SRN No, The system is accepting the no.

05 February 2013 madam is this no Z99999999 being accepted in XBRL also?
actually somebody told me that in XBRL mode this no is not being accepted n penalties r being imposed. please make this doubt clear as its very urgent

07 February 2013 Yes the system is accepting the no..Upto my knowledge no penalties imposed for this..
