26 November 2009 Hi,

In Form 1A the applicant has to be a promoter. How does it work if the promoter is a Company registered out of india? Can the PAN of the Authorised Representative be used as the applicant? If so, then the same will also have to be entered in point no. 7: Details of promoters. is that allowed? Please help

Greetings.

Please note that you can fill DIN/PAN of authorised representative of company registered out of india in point no. 2 (a) for the details of applicant.
Regarding the details in point no. 7 you have to select category as : company incorporated outside india, then can fill either DIN or PAN or FCRN and in the name column you have to fill "Mr. X, Authorised representative of *name of the company incorpoared outside india, London*.
