04 June 2013 I am a salaried person and have filed return for AY 2011-12 & 2012-13. I dont have Form 16 for both the AY as my income is below basic exemption limit.

When I had applied for housing loan, the bank is insisting on submission of Form 16.
I am not working with that empolyer anymore and he is not ready to give me Form 16.

Members please advice on how do I explain the situation to bank and get the loan passed.

14 June 2013 You can ask your employer as you are asking for housing loan purpose. all employer will give that for bank purpose.

or

Tell to banker since you are not coming under TDS, form 16 not possible and ask them to accept Income tax return as document
