Form 16 in case of non taxablee salary

11 February 2015 Dear Sir,

I urgently need the form 16 for the last two years, to be submitted in bank for the purpose of availing the loan. But as my salary is not taxable, no entry has been made in the TDS return, as filed by our firm during last two years. Pl also note I was on articleship and just completed it on 29th Oct'14. Pl do help and confirm the way as how can I get the form 16 whether by revising the TDS return or any other legal way?

CONTACT YOUR EMPLOYER ASK FOR FORM 16 OF LAST TWO YEARS ..THEY WILL GIVE

11 February 2015 I have done this but they are saying as they have not filled my salary details in the return so they cant issue.

Pls do suggest any other way.

11 February 2015 IT NOT NECESSARY THAT ONLY THE EMPLOYEES WHOSE TDS HAS BEEN DEDUCTED OR DETAILS IN THE TDS RETURNS ARE PROVIDED IS ELIGIBLE TO GET FORM 16... TELL THEM TO PREPARE MANUALLY AND GIVE IT TO YOU... IT IS THERE DUTY.

11 February 2015 Will this be valid as this has to be given in Bank for availing the home loan and without the form 16 they will not process my loan request?

12 February 2015 dont worry they will have word format or else you can generate it from the software which you are using for filing Income Tax return...
