25 July 2024 If you have completed your graduation and have not yet submitted Form 112 to the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), here are the steps you should take:

### Steps to Submit Form 112:

1. **Obtain Form 112**: Download the latest version of Form 112 from the ICAI website or obtain it from your local ICAI branch office.

2. **Fill Out the Form**: Complete Form 112 accurately. Provide all required details about your educational qualifications, including your graduation details.

3. **Attach Supporting Documents**: Include copies of your graduation certificate and mark sheets along with Form 112.

4. **Submit to ICAI**: Submit the completed Form 112 and supporting documents to your local ICAI branch office or the appropriate authority as per the instructions provided on the form.

### Addressing the Delay:

- **Reason for Delay**: If there was a delay in submitting Form 112 due to any reason (e.g., lack of awareness, oversight), you can mention this in a brief cover letter accompanying your submission.

- **No Penalty for Late Submission**: There is typically no penalty for late submission of Form 112. However, it is essential to update your records with ICAI to ensure compliance with their regulations.

### Completion of Articleship:

Since you have one year of articleship remaining, it's important to ensure that all your documentation is in order. Form 112 is a crucial document to be submitted to ICAI, especially before completing your articleship and applying for membership.

### Professional Advice:

If you have any specific concerns or if there are unique circumstances related to your situation, it's advisable to consult with a professional or contact ICAI directly. They can provide specific guidance based on your individual case and ensure that you complete the necessary formalities smoothly.

By promptly submitting Form 112 and ensuring all required documentation is in order, you will maintain compliance with ICAI regulations and facilitate a smooth transition towards completing your articleship and obtaining membership.
