24 March 2011 Would anyone Please explain me the following terms: Authorised capital and Subscribed capital, Preference shares.

In my case: the Authorised capital is 1,00,000/- and the equity share value is Rs. 10/-

and please help me out to fill the following:

(a) Authorised capital of the company ( in Rs.) - 1,00,000.00
Break up of Authorised capital:

Total amount of equity shares (in Rs.)-? __________.
Nominal amount per equity share-? _________.
Number of preference shares-? ___________.
Total amount of preference shares (in Rs.)-? _____________.

(b) Subscribed capital of the company ( in Rs.)-? _________.

25 March 2011 hey friend...please tel me whether you have any preference shares. and wat is the subscribtion amount.
If you ddnt know how to find out above details just have look of MOA of the Comapny in that refer to capital clause.

Total amount of equity shares in Rs. is No of Equity share*Face value.

The MoA says that 10,000 equity share of Rs.10/- per share. The two directors get 400 shares each. So what will be the preference shares and Subscribed capital?
