10 May 2008 Please guide me about the proceedures to be adopted by a registered trust u/s 12 of IT Act regarding receiving of foreign grant. Is there any special type of registration required under any other act or department.

10 May 2008 the trust has to apply for registration under FCRA before receiving the donation from a foreign country in form FC-1. Other wise it can take a specific permission for receipt of donation one time. you can visit https://www.mha.nic.in/fcra.htm for more details.
