Sir, I have passed CPT securing 174 marks in June 11 with self study.Normally i prefer self study(even in XII also). I will appear in both group in May2012. I want some clarifications as follows:-
1.Whether IPCC is possible with self study or thr coaching.
2.If thr, coaching, which subject's coaching is required.
3.If going for full coaching of all subjects, no time will be for self study.
4.If thr self study and some coaching, pl suggest good books.

You need to take coaching for technical subjects. Coaching is recommended at IPCC levels because, there is a huge difference between CPT and IPCC. I suggest that if you are appearing for such tough professional exam, you should go for coaching.

1. Accounts (Including Advanced Accounts)
2. Taxation
3. Costing
4. Financial Management
Other subjects you can do on self study also.
