05 February 2010 My query is a pvt ltd company has the main objective of Security & allied services, now wants to do animal husbendary, car rental , data operatins etc.
1) is it possible under companies Act, ie one name but different work,
2) is passing a resolution do the purpose,
3) your suggestion & reasons for the same

06 February 2010 in Pvt Company, firest the new business which you want to carry out should be in memorandum under heading other objects so by passing board resolution u can carry out that business,

In case additional object is not there in the MoA than you have to go for change of MoA and follow the procedure for change of main object
