13 June 2016 We have purchase many air-conditioners for office every year. There are many air-conditioners scrap every year. How these has to be shown in Fixed assets when AC is purchase. Whether for every AC purchase separate assets account or all the ACs should be put in one Fixed assets -Air conditioners. How these entry for purchase and scarp should be booked. How this will be shown in Fixed assets register.

14 June 2016 You can create group of Air Conditioner and every new purchase of Air Conditioner you can create ledger with Name and date i.e Air Conditioner (Blue-140616) so that when it will go for scrap you can sett off the actual AIr Conditioner.
