11 April 2012 Hi,

my company was incorporated on 14/10/2010.

When will be its first AGM?

Since i have read somewhere that first agm of the company should be convened within nine months of the first financial year end or withing 18 months of its incorporation wherever is earlier.

Now then as per that provision it shall be convened on or before 31/12/2011.

Am i right???

11 April 2012 As per the Section 166, First AGM should be held within 18 Months from the Date of Incorporation.

While Section 210 says that 1st AGM should be held within 9 Months from the date of ending of 1st Financial year.

To comply both the section, a company is supposed to earliest of above so due date in the said case will be 31st Dec 2011, where u are preparing P&L and B/S as on 31st March 2011.
