How much time a partnership firm registration at the registrar of firms take in Mumbai ?

22 October 2011 to preapre a deed and submission takes a weeks time but to get the firm registered takes atleast one year.

22 October 2011 Wow thats a real long time. Wonder what makes it all so cumbersome and time consuming?

24 October 2011 I also wonder about the same. But have no solution to it.

You make an application for registration today and follow up after six months say in March, 2012 the ROF people would say the currently the documents filed in March, 2011 are being processed.

So that way I can say it takes about a year to get a firm actually registered.
