Fine on late filing of er7 form

Dear Sir,
We were not aware of filing of ER7 form hence have filed late by 4 months what fine do we have to pay on the same.
Please help.

If department will demand the penalty then you need to pay.

earlier this rule are treat now from march budget on wards they mention 100/- per day penalty for delay return subject to maximum of 20000/-.
