what is meant by DEBT SECURITISATION,BILL OF LADING and DOCK WAREHOUSE KEEPER'S CERTIFICATE?

06 August 2010 #Debt Securitisation:is nothing but the packaging of a pool of financial assets into marketable securities. It involves issue of securities against illiquid assets of financial institutions and such securities are really structured, whereby the originator transfer or sells some of the assets to a SPV which breaks these assets into tradable securities of smaller value then sold to the investing public. The general principle is that the maturities of these securities must coincide with the maturity of the securitized loan.

#Bill of Lading:A bill of lading is a type of document that is used to acknowledge the receipt of a shipment of goods. A transportation company or carrier issues this document to a shipper. In addition to acknowledging the receipt of goods, a bill of lading indicates the particular vessel on which the goods have been placed, their intended destination, and the terms for transporting the shipment to its final destination.

#Dock Warehouse Keeper's Certificate: A dock warrant or a warehouse keeper's warrant is a document issued by an authorized warehouse keeper. It serves two functions; it is a contract of storage, and a document of title.
