what is the minimum period of articleship one has to complete before appearing for first attempt in ca final?

To get final attempt eligibility one should be in last six months of articleship training including excess leaves if any as on the first day of the exams commencing month.
So directly we can say a student who didn't have any excess leaves shall has to complete minimum of 2 and half years of articleship to get first final exam eligibility.
