if u have passed pe2 in may 2007 and registered for NEW CA Final , can u tell me when is my final attempt. is it after 2years of atricles or 2.5 Years

Your attempt will be after 2 years of completion of your training.

24 March 2008 In new scheme ur CA Final YR attempt will be held in may2010(if registered before 31st oct 2009 i.e. after 2.5yrs of completion of ur articleship.
Total period of articleship will be same 3yrs(as u pass pe2)

24 March 2008 ur attempt will definitely be on May'10 after completion of 2 1/2 yrs of articleship since ur registered under the New Final Course.
By the way ur attempt purely depends on the time u join ur articleship and not on the time u clear ur attempt. Since 2 1/2 years is the period of articleship served to be eligible for exams in the NEW FINAL COURSE.
