Dear All
While i 'm trying to file itr -4 and converted it in to xam firl and try to upload it an error msg appears showing that please upload xml file.

Kindly help me to solve this problem

29 July 2011 Once you fill the ITR 4 excel utility in complete.. you need to press calculate.

Then generate.... The file will generate XML file.

You need to upload the same xml file on :
https://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/portal/index.jsp

I don't think there should be any problem.

i was following the same procedure but it was not generating due to problem in my internet . Than i was in thought that the procedure was changed but later i did it .
